Peygamberimiz sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem buyurdu ki,

Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said that,

Allah-u Teâlâ'nın çok sevdiği kimse,

The one whom Allah, the Exalted, loves very much,

dinini öğrenen ve başkalarına öğretendir.

It is the one who learns their religion and teaches it to others.

Dininizi, İslâm âlimlerinin ağızlarından öğreniniz.

Learn your religion from the mouths of Islamic scholars.

Hakîkî âlim bulamayan,

Those who cannot find a true scholar,

ehl-i sünnet âlimlerinin kitaplarından öğrenmeli

One should learn from the books of the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah.

ve bu kitapların yayılmasına çalışmalıdır.

and should work towards the spread of these books.

İlm, amel ve ihlas sahibi olan Müslüman'a İslâm âlimi denir.

A Muslim who possesses knowledge, action, and sincerity is called an Islamic scholar.

Bu üçünden biri noksan olup da,

If one of these three is lacking,

kendini âlim tanıtana kötü din adamı yobaz denir.

One who presents themselves as a scholar is called a bad clergyman or bigot.

İslâm âlimi, insanı saadet kapılarına açan sebeplere kavuşturur.

The Islamic scholar provides the means that lead a person to the gates of happiness.

Dinin bekçisidir.

He is the guardian of the religion.

Yobaz, insanı felakete sürükleyen sebeplerin içine düşürür,

The bigot leads a person into the causes that drive them to disaster.

şeytanın yardımcısıdır.

He is the assistant of the devil.
