Of course. When I first arrived in America, I definitely saw myself as someone in Turkey who had a level of interaction with English above average during the adaptation process.

When a person who says they know the best English in Turkey comes here, they go through a period of realizing that the language they speak is very different from the language spoken by the person in front of them.
