E-TEP Sınavı Nedir? YDS ve YÖKDİL Tarih mi Oluyor?

In this podcast, I will talk to you about the ITEP exam.

Should I say ITEP or ETEP, I couldn't decide.

Because this exam is an exam by ÖSYM.

ÖSYM, YDS ve YÖKDİL'e muadil bir sınav çıkarıyor.

ÖSYM is introducing an exam equivalent to YDS and YÖKDİL.

It seems like a substitute right now, but maybe it will take its place later.

So YÖKDİL and YDS may be abolished and replaced with ETEP.

ETEP ne demek? Electronic Test of English Proficiency.

What does ETEP mean? Electronic Test of English Proficiency.

So it will actually be a language proficiency exam conducted in an electronic environment.

So, as you know, YÖKDİL was a multiple-choice exam with 80 questions, just like YDS.

Currently, YDS is being held once a month as EYDS.

The regular YDS is held every six months.

As you know, there was already the ÜDS until two thousand twelve.

ÜDS'de YÖKGİD gibi üç farklı alanda yapılıyordu.

It was conducted in three different areas like YÖKGİD in the ÜDS.

Sonradan vazgeçtiler.

They later changed their minds.

YDS yapalım dediler.

They said let's do a YDS.

Ve beş sene böyle gitti.

And it went on like this for five years.

E baktılar ki özellikle sağlık alanında çalışanlar.

And they saw that especially those working in the health sector.

We just don't understand this YDS.
