Not because I am overwhelmed by the fear of death.
Ağlıyorum
I am crying.
Beni ağlatan şudur
What makes me cry is this.
Çıkacağım yolculuk uzun
The journey I will take is long.
Ama benim azlığım azdır
But my scarcity is little.

Will I enter paradise?

Yüreğimizde bundan başka
In our hearts, nothing but this.
Ne varsa korku adına
Whatever there is in the name of fear.
Hepsini söküp atsın
Let him take them all apart and throw them away.
Tek bu akıbet korkusunu
Only this fear of fate.
Bizim korkumuz kılsın
Let our fear be a hair.

"With a loud voice, he is shouting like this."
Ey Medine'nin
Oh, of Medina
Tüccarları esnafları
Merchants and tradesmen
Ey pazarda ticaret yapanlar
O traders in the market
Kârlarla
With profits
Ticaret yapmak için uğraşıyorsunuz
You are working to trade.
Ama bilmiyorsunuz ne kaybettiğinizi
But you don't know what you have lost.
Peygamberin mirası
The legacy of the Prophet.
Mescitte dağıtılıyor
It is being distributed in the mosque.
O miras dağıtılırken
When that inheritance is being distributed
Siz ondan mahrumsunuz
You are deprived of it.
Ticaret yapanlar
Traders
Ellerinde ne varsa bırakıyorlar
They are leaving behind whatever they have in their hands.
Peygamberin mescidine doğru koşuyorlar
They are running towards the Prophet's mosque.
Giriyorlar mescide
They are entering the mosque.
Bakıyorlar ki bir şey yok
They see that there is nothing.
Onlar miras deyince
When they say inheritance
Başka şeyler anlıyorlar
They understand other things.
Ama birkaç halka
But a few rings
Oturmuşlar Kur'an'la meşgul oluyor
They are sitting and preoccupied with the Quran.
Bir halka hadisle meşgul oluyor
A circle is engaged with a hadith.
Bir halka dua ediyor
A ring is praying.
Ebu Hureyre'ye kızarak dışarıya çıkıyorlar
They are going outside angrily at Abu Huraira.
Bizi kandırdın diyorlar
They say you deceived us.
Ebu Hureyre'nin sözü şu oluyor
The saying of Abu Huraira is as follows.
Vallahi kandırmadım
I swear I didn't deceive.
Unuttunuz mu?
Did you forget?
Peygamber sallallahu aleyhi ve sellemin
The Prophet, peace be upon him.
Dediği sözü
The word he/she said.
Biz peygamberler topluluğu
We are a community of prophets.
Ne bir dinar
Not a single dinar.
Ne bir dirhem miras bırakırız
We do not leave a penny as inheritance.
Bizim bıraktığımız miras
The legacy we left behind.
Sadece ilimdir
It is only knowledge.
İlim dağıtılıyor
Knowledge is being distributed.
Peygamberin mescidinden
From the prophet's mosque
O ilimden nasibinizi alın
Take your share of that knowledge.

Look.
O ilimden
That science.
Nasibimiz olsun diye
So that it may be our fate.
Bir hadis aktaracağım
I will convey a hadith.

A hadith that he conveyed.

Be content with what you appreciate.

En zengini olasın
May you be the richest.
Komşuna iyi davran ki
Treat your neighbor well so that
Gerçek manada
In the true sense.
Mümin olasın
May you be a believer.
Kendine iyi davran ki
Take care of yourself so that...
Kendin için sevdiğini
Love what you love for yourself.
İnsanlar içinde sev ki
Love among people.

In the true sense.
Müslüman olasın
May you be a Muslim.

Oh, I wish I had the strength.

I wish you had the strength.

What does it matter?
Her ilçesinde
In each district
Her köyünde
In her village
Her mescidinde
In every mosque.
Peygamber sallallahu aleyhi ve sellemin
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Ashabı anlatılsa
If the companions were to be described.
Bu aciz kardeşinizin
This helpless brother of yours
Elinden gelen buydu
This was all he could do.

From beginning to end.

At the cost of being unemployed.

İlla İslam diyelim
Let's say Islam for sure.

Let's rise with Islam.
Derdimiz sadece o olsun ki
Let our only concern be that.
Akıbetimiz hayır olsun
May our fate be good.
