In this section, I will give recommendations to engineering students rather than discussing a technical topic.

Generally, when students write to me, they ask questions like how to become a good engineer or how to improve myself.

In this regard, theoretical knowledge in Turkey is insignificant; what matters is practical knowledge, or rather, a waste of time.

A good engineer should master theoretical models.

The same information is being taught everywhere in the world, or to put it another way, I received my education in Germany and Switzerland.

When I look at the lesson notes in Turkey, I see that we did not learn in the same way as in Turkey.

If we start with the examples of reinforced concrete, we learned this reinforced concrete behavior through the analogy of the cage beam.

I haven't encountered the analogy of the cage beam in any lecture notes in Turkey.
