Rahman ve Rahim olan Allah'ın adıyla

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Ey kendisine hakkıyla hamd etmekten aciz olduğumu bilen Allah'ım

O God, You who know that I am incapable of truly praising You.

Senden sana hamd edenlerin en kamili hakkı için

For the sake of the most perfect among those who praise You.

Ona öyle bir salat ve selamını istiyorum ki

I want such a greeting and peace upon him that...

Bu salat ve selam onun enfes varlığında

This blessing and peace is in His exquisite presence.

Senin en kutsi kemaline layık olsun

May it be worthy of your most sacred beauty.

O ki sen ona kendi isimlerinle sıfatlarının hakikatlerini

That you may grant him the truths of Your names and attributes.

Ve yine kendi zatının tecellilerini açmıştın da

And once again, you had revealed the manifestations of your own essence.

For this reason, he too in a manner befitting your perfection

Seni tanımıştı

She had recognized you.

Yine sen ona başkalarına ilham etmediğin güzelliklerini de ilham etmiştin

You had inspired him not only with your beauty, which you didn’t inspire others with.

Nitekim ileride onun ilahi lütuflara mazhariyetinin tamamlanacağı

Indeed, it will be completed in the future that he will attain divine blessings.

Ve yeganeliğinin belli olacağı günde de

And on the day when its uniqueness will become apparent

Yine bu güzelliklerinden ona ilham edeceksin

You will inspire him again with your beauty.

Ona lütfedeceğin şerefli salat ve selamlarının

"Your honorable blessings and greetings that you will bestow upon him"

Onun hem maddi varlığına hem manevi varlığına

To both his material existence and his spiritual existence.

Both the public and the realm of the emir.

When the things that are destined to happen start to occur

Aziz ve celil olan Allah'a itirazlarda bulunmak

To make objections to Allah, who is Most Gracious and Most Mighty.

Dinin ölmesi, tevhidin ölmesi, tevekkül ve ihlasın ölmesi demektir

The death of religion means the death of monotheism, the death of trust and sincerity.

İnanan bir kalp

A believing heart

Kader karşısında

In the face of fate

Niçin, nasıl, neden gibi şeyler bilmez

They do not know things like why, how, and reason.

Allah'ın takdirine karşı

Against God's decree.

İtirazlarda bulunan böyle soruları asla sormaz

He would never ask such questions that raise objections.

He is against fate.

It is in a state of contention by God's decree.

Hep kadere karşı çıkar

It always opposes fate.

They will make objections.

Nefsini ıslah etmek isteyen

"Whoever wants to reform their soul"

Onunla savaşsın

Fight with him.

Mücahede de bulunsun

Let him strive in jihad.

Ta onun şerrinden emin oluncaya kadar

Until he is assured of his harm.

Nefs bütünüyle şer içinde şerdir

The self is entirely evil within evil.

If one fights against oneself on the path of reform.

And if it is made tranquil.

If freed from negative tendencies and passions.

Good things come out of good.

In the fulfillment of all acts of worship and obedience.

Ey hakikate ermiş nefs

O soul that has attained the truth.

Dön Rabbine

Turn to your Lord.

Sen ondan razı

You are pleased with it.

O da senden razı olur

He will be pleased with you too.

Fecr suresi 27 ve 28. ayeti kerimelerden

Verses 27 and 28 of Surah Al-Fajr.

Artık böyle bir nefsin

Such a self no longer exists.

Allah yolunda bulunmaya iştiyak duyması sahihtir

It is true that he has a desire to be in the path of Allah.

Bizzat kendi şerri kendisinden zayil olmuştur

His own evil has been diminished by himself.

Fani varlıklardan hiçbirine bağlanmaz

She is not attached to any mortal possessions.

Nesebinin Ceddi İbrahim aleyhisselama merbudiyetine hak kazanmıştır

His lineage has earned the connection to his ancestor Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

Malum

It is known.

İbrahim aleyhisselam ateşe atılacağı zaman

When Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was to be thrown into the fire.

Nefsinden tamamen sıyrılmış

Completely detached from the ego.

Kendisinde hiçbir nefsani

He has no carnal desires.

Hevai duygu bırakmamıştı

He had not left any emotional attachment.

Kalbide iyice manevi sükunet ve itminana ermişti

He had attained spiritual tranquility and peace in his heart.

Bu sırada mahlukattan birçoğu yanına gelerek

At this moment, many creatures approached him.

Kendisine yardım etmeye hazır olduklarını arz etmişler

They have expressed that they are ready to help him.

Ve bu hususta canlarını fedadan çekinmeyeceklerini söylemişlerdi

And they had stated that they would not hesitate to sacrifice their lives in this regard.

İbrahim aleyhisselamsa onlara şu cevabı veriyordu

And Abraham (peace be upon him) was giving them this answer.

Hayır sizlerin yardımını istemiyorum

No, I do not need your help.

Onun benim alimi bilmesi yardım talebinde bulunmaktan beni müstani kılar

His knowledge of my expertise relieves me from having to ask for help.

Thus, when his submission and trust in God were completed like this

O fire, be coolness and safety for Abraham.

Be cool and safe towards Ibrahim.

Enbiyaz suresi 69. ayeti kerimeden

Verse 69 of Surah Al-Ma'arij.

Sabırlılara aziz ve celil olan Allah'ın

Those who are patient are honored by Allah, the Majestic and Mighty.

Dünyada sayısız yardımları

Countless aids in the world.

Ahirette de yine sayısız nimetleri vardır

In the afterlife, there are countless blessings as well.

Nitekim bu hususu ifade eden bir ayetinde

Indeed, in a verse that expresses this matter

Şanı yüce olan Allah şöyle buyurur

The Almighty Allah says the following.

Ancak sabredenlere ecirleri hesapsız ödenecektir

But for the patient ones, their rewards will be given without account.

Ve bu hususu ifade eden bir ayetinde

And in a verse expressing this matter

Zümer suresi 10. ayeti kerimeden

From the 10th verse of Surah Az-Zumar.

Allah'a hiçbir şey gizli kalmaz

Nothing is hidden from Allah.

Kendi rızası için sabredip tahammül gösterenleri aynayla bilir

Those who endure and show patience for their own sake will be recognized with a mirror.

Siz onun lütfunu ve ihsanını senelerdir gördünüz, görüyorsunuz

You have seen and are seeing His grace and favor for many years.

Ne olur siz de onun rızası için bir an sabrediniz, tahammül gösteriniz

Please, for the sake of his approval, endure for just a moment and show some patience.

Zaten kahramanlarınızı görüyoruz

We can already see your heroes.

Heroism is made up of a moment of patience.

God, whose glory is exalted.

Lütfundan vereceği yardım ve zaferle

With the assistance and victory He will grant out of His grace.

He is always with those who are patient.

Nitekim bu hususu açıkça beyan eden bir ayetinde

Indeed, in a verse that clearly states this matter

Şöyle buyurur

He says the following.

Hiç şüphe yok ki Allah'ın yardımı sabredenlerle beraberdir

There is no doubt that God's help is with those who are patient.

Bakara suresi 153. ayeti kerimeden

From the 153rd verse of Surah Al-Baqarah: "O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient."

Siz de Allah için sabrediniz, tahammül gösteriniz

Be patient and endure for the sake of Allah.

Allah için intibaha geliniz, uyanınız

For God's sake, awaken, arise.

Allah'tan gafil olmayınız

Do not be heedless of Allah.

Uyanmayı ölüm sonrasına bırakmayınız

Do not leave waking up until after death.

Zira öldükten sonraki uyanışın size faydası olmaz

For the awakening after death will not benefit you.

Allah'a kavuşmadan önce Allah için uyanınız, intibaha geliniz

"Awaken for Allah, be alert before meeting Allah."

Kendi iradeniz olmadan yakalanıp uyanın

Awaken without your own will being caught.

Azaba çarptırılacağınız an gelmeden önce uyanınız

Wake up before the moment you will be struck with torment.

O vakit geldiği an pişman olursunuz

At that moment, you will regret it.

Ancak bu pişmanlık size fayda vermez

However, this regret will not benefit you.

Kalplerinizi ıslah ediniz

Reform your hearts.

Zira hiç şüphe yok ki eğer o salih olursa

For there is no doubt that if he is righteous

Bütün diğer halleriniz de salih olur

All your other states will also be righteous.

İşte bunun içindir ki Resulullah sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem

This is why the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ...

Şöyle buyurmuşlardır

They have stated the following.

Şu insanoğlunda bir et parçası vardır ki

There is a piece of flesh in this human being that

O doğru olduğu zaman onun diğer bütün uzuvları doğru olur

When it is correct, all of its other limbs are correct as well.

O bozuk olduğu zamansa onun bütün diğer uzuvları bozuk olur

When it is broken, all of its other limbs are broken too.

Haberiniz olsun ki bu et parçası kalptir

Please be aware that this piece of meat is the heart.

Kalbin salahı, takva, aziz ve celil olan Allah'a tevekkül

The soundness of the heart is reliance on Allah, the Most Gracious and Majestic.

Onu tevhid ve birleme ve amellerde ihlasla mümkündür

It is possible with unity and sincerity in deeds.

Takva salahı, takva, aziz ve celil olan Allah'a tevekkül

The prayer of piety, trust in the Almighty and Majestic Allah.

Onun birliğini tasdik eyleyen ve amellerini de ihlasla yapan kişinin kalbi doğrudur, salihtir

The heart of the person who affirms His unity and acts sincerely is true and righteous.

Kalbin fesatlığının ve bozukluğunun sebebi ise

The reason for the corruption and disorder of the heart is

Onda yukarıdaki hastaların bulunmayışıdır

It is the absence of the patients mentioned above in him.

Kalp beden kafesinde bir kuştur

The heart is a bird in the cage of the body.

Yine o tıpkı kutudaki birinci hazinedeki bir maldır

It is again like a treasure in the first box.

İtibarsa kafese değil kuşadır

If it is a reference, it is to the bird, not the cage.

Kutuya değil inciyedir

It's not about the box, it's the pearl.

Hazineye değil içindeki maladır

It is not the treasury, but the goods inside it.

Allah'ım, uzuvlarımızı sana kulluk yapmakla

Oh my God, may our limbs be devoted to Your service.

Kalplerimizi seni tanımakla

Our hearts with knowing you.

Uzun ömürlerimizin gecesini gündüzünü

The day and night of our long lives.

Sana layık olmaya çalışmakla meşgul eyle

"Busy trying to be worthy of you."

Bizi bizden önce gelip geçmiş salihler topluluğuna ilhak eyle

"Unite us with the community of the righteous who have passed before us."

Allah'ım, bizden önce gelip geçmiş salihler topluluğuna ilhak eyle

O Allah, unite us with the righteous community that came before us.

Bizi de onlara vermiş olduğun maddi ve manevi

You have also given us material and spiritual support.

Güzel rızıklarla rızıklandır

Provide sustenance with beautiful provisions.

Onlar için olduğun gibi bizim için de ol

Be as you are for them, as you are for us.

Ey ahali!

Oh people!

Tıpkı salihler gibi siz de aziz ve celil olan Allah'ın yolunda olun

Just like the righteous, you too should be on the path of Allah, the Most Sacred and Majestic.

Hayatınızı Allah için geçirin

Live your life for Allah.

Ta ki o da sizin için olsun

Until it is for you too.

Size yardım ve zafer bahşetsin

May it grant you help and victory.

Tıpkı sizden önceki salihler için olduğu gibi

Just like for the righteous before you.

Tıpkı onlara yardım ve zafer bahşettiği gibi

Just as He granted them help and victory.

Eğer aziz ve celil olan Allah'ın

If the Almighty and Majestic Allah's

Sizin için olmasını

May it happen for you.

Size yardım ve zafer bahşetmesini isterseniz

If you want to grant you help and victory

Ona kullukla meşgul olunuz

Engage in worshiping Him.

Onun yolunda sabırlı olunuz

Be patient on his path.

Onun gerek sizdeki ve gerekse sizden başkalarındaki tasarruflarına

To both his savings with you and with others besides you.

Rıza gösterebilirsiniz

You can show consent.

Allah yolunun yolcuları

Travelers on the path of God.

Dünya hayatında zahit oldular

They became ascetic in the worldly life.

Haramlardan, günahlardan ellerini çektiler

They withdrew their hands from the forbidden things and sins.

Dünyadaki nasiplerini de takva eliyle aldılar

They received their share in the world with the hand of piety.

Sonra da ahireti istediler

Then they desired the hereafter.

Orayı kazanmayı murad ettiler

They aimed to win that place.

Bu maksatla güzel ameller işlediler

For this purpose, they performed good deeds.

Nefslerine karşı geldiler

They went against their souls.

Aziz ve celil olan Rablerine itaat ettiler

They obeyed their Lord, who is Mighty and Majestic.

In previous years.

Önce kendilerine kendi nefslerine vaaz ve nasihat ettiler

First, they preached and gave advice to their own souls.

They gave advice.

Kendi nefslerini ıslah ettikten sonra da

After they have rectified their own selves

Ey oğul!

Oh son!

First, advise your own self.

Correct your own ego.

Then give advice to others.

Try to correct others.

Sana önce kendi nefsinin hususiyetleri

The qualities of your own self first to you.

Kendinde ıslaha muhtaç bir hal var olduğu müddetçe

As long as there is a state that requires improvement in oneself

başkalarını düzeltmeye,

to correct others,

başkalarına öğütler vermeye kalkışma.

Don't attempt to give advice to others.

Eğer kendinde ıslaha muhtaç bir hal bulunduğu halde

If you have a condition that requires improvement despite being aware of it

If you leave this and try to reform others.

Shame on you.

Hiç şüphe yok ki sen

There is no doubt that you

başkalarını nasıl ve hangi hallerde kurtarabileceğini bilirsin.

You know how and under what circumstances you can save others.

Sen kendin körsen bir başkasını elinden tutup

If you are blind yourself, how can you hold someone else's hand?

bir yere nasıl götürebilirsin?

How can you take someone somewhere?

Gözleri görmeyen birisinin bir başkasını elinden tutup

A person who cannot see holds someone else's hand.

bir yere götürmesi mümkün olmadığı gibi

as it is not possible to take somewhere

kendi nefsini ıslah etmemiş birisinin de

someone who has not corrected their own ego

başkalarını irşad edip Allah'a götürmesi mümkün değildir.

It is not possible to guide others and lead them to God.

Ancak kendi gözleri gören kişi

But the person who sees with their own eyes

başkalarını bir yerden bir yere götürebilir.

can take others from one place to another.

Denize düşen ve yüzme bilmeyen birisini

Someone who falls into the sea and doesn't know how to swim.

ancak mahir yüzücü olan birisi kurtarabilir.

Only someone who is a skilled swimmer can save.

Aynen bunun gibi aziz ve celil olan Allah'a

Just like this, to the Almighty and Majestic Allah.

insanları ancak onu tanıyan birisi götürebilir.

Only someone who knows him can take people away.

Allah'ı tanımayan kişiye gelince

As for the person who does not know Allah,

ona giden yolda bu kişi

this person on the road to him/her

insanlara nasıl rehberlik edebilir ki?

How can he/she guide people?

Sana aziz ve celil olan Allah'ın

The God who is dear and mighty to you.

tasarrufu ve hizmetini verir.

It provides savings and service.

Allah'ın Allah'ı tanımayan kişiye gelince ona giden yolda bu kişi insanlara nasıl rehberlik edebilir ki?

As for the person who does not know Allah, how can that person guide others on the path to Him?

Sana aziz ve celil olan Allah'ın tasarrufu ve hizmetini verir.

He grants you the dominion and service of Allah, who is precious and majestic.

Allah'ın Allah'ı tanımayan kişiye gelince ona giden yolda bu kişi insanlara nasıl rehberlik edebilir ki?

As for the person who does not recognize Allah, how can this person guide others on the path to Him?

Yolundan bahsetmek ihtiyacını hissetmiyorum.

I don't feel the need to talk about the way.

Sen onu seversin.

You love her.

Amellerini sırf onun rızası için yaparsın.

You perform your deeds solely for His pleasure.

Asla ondan başkası için yapmazsın.

You would never do it for anyone else.

Ve yine sen yalnız ondan korkarsın.

And again, you are only afraid of him.

Ondan başkasından asla korkmazsın.

You will never be afraid of anyone else but him.

Fakat bütün bunlar

But all of this

gönülden halis bir inanış

a pure belief from the heart

ve iştiyaklı olacak şeylerdir.

and they will be things that are eager.

Ağız kalabalığıyla ve lafla uygunsa

If it fits with a mouthful and talk.

olacak şeyler değildir.

These are not things that will happen.

Yine bütün bunlar

Again all of this

halvetle, ibadet,

seclusion, worship,

zikir, riyazat

dhikr, asceticism

ve murakabe ile alınacak

and will be taken with supervision

neticelerdir. Yoksa

These are the results. Or else

şekilcilikten

from formalism

ve zahiri gösterişten

and from ostentation

öteye geçemeyen ve

unable to cross over and

ruha asla işlemeyen

never affecting the soul

bir takım davranışlarla

with a series of behaviors

elde edilecek neticeler değildir.

They are not the results to be obtained.

Evin kapısında

At the door of the house.

tevhid bulunur,

Unity is found,

içi de şirkle dolu olursa

if it's full of shirk inside too

bu münafıklığın,

this hypocrisy,

iki üstlülüğün ve fitne

the two supremacies and discord

ve fesadın ta kendisidir.

and is the very essence of corruption.

Bu yüzden

Therefore

Allah yolunun yolcusunun

The traveler of God's path.

diliyle kalbi,

with the heart of the tongue,

içiyle dışı, sözüyle

with its inside and outside, with its words

Yazık sana ki

What a pity for you.

dilin hep müttakilik

Your tongue is always in obedience.

is claiming. As for the heart,

it bursts forth from the fountain,

fitne ve fesattan hiç arınmaz.

It is never free from strife and discord.

Dilin hep şükreder

Your tongue always gives thanks.

It shows. As for your heart.

hep mukadderat-ı ilahiye

always divine decree

It is under objection.

Aziz ve celil

Majestic and glorious.

olan Allah bir kutsi

The one who is Allah is a sacred.

hadiste şöyle buyurur.

It is stated in the hadith as follows.

Ey Ademoğlu!

Oh, son of Adam!

Hiç durmaksızın

Without stopping at all.

benim rahmetim sana akmaktadır.

My mercy flows to you.

Buna karşılık bana

In response to this, to me

senin hep şerrin yükselmektedir.

Your evil is always increasing.

Yazık sana ki

It's a pity for you that...

onun kulu olduğunu

that he is his servant

iddia ediyorsun.

You are claiming.

Fakat ondan başkasına

But to no one else.

itaatte bulunuyorsun.

You are obeying.

Halbuki eğer sen

However, if you

hakikaten onun kulu olmuş

He has truly become his servant.

A believer with strong faith.

ne to your devil, nor to your state,

ne hevasına.

What a mood.

Esasen kuvvetli imana sahip

In essence, he/she has strong faith.

bir mümin, şeytan diye

a believer, by the devil

bir şey bilmez ki ona

It knows nothing about it.

itaat etsin.

Let him obey.

Dünyayı aldırmaz ki onun için

The world doesn't care for him.

zelil durumlara düşsün.

may it fall into disgraceful situations.

Bilakis o,

On the contrary, he/she,

dünyayı hakir ve zelil görür.

He sees the world as lowly and despicable.

Ona aldanmaz.

She won't be deceived.

Ebedi hayatı kazanmaya

To gain eternal life.

Halbuki onlar,

Allah'a, onun dininde

To Allah, in His religion.

ihlas sahibi ve

possessor of sincerity and
