まで

"まで" means "until," "up to," or "as far as" in English.

まで is used to indicate the destination point, 'to the school', the limit.

学校まで歩いて行きます。

I walk to the school.

まで is used to specify the endpoint in time, 'until night'.

夜まで宿題をやります。

I will do homework until night.

まで indicates the destination up to where the activity happens, targeting 'to the station'.

駅まで電車で行き、その後タクシーに乗ります。

I go by train to the station and then take a taxi.
